Bob Stewart has been in and around music his entire life. He began playing piano at age four, with serious lessons at seven. His first inspiration in the world of music came from his father who played drums at a local playhouse. When Bob was eight his father would bring him to the shows and Bob would record on an old reel-to-reel and has been hooked ever since. In high school, he played keyboards in a rock band. Bob later worked for a video studio in his hometown where he learned to do audio; back when recording was done on a one track, 1⁄4 inch tape.
In 1985, he moved to San Diego and got a job at World Video, which had a 16-track, a two track and a synchronizer for audio sweetening. He did the audio post on tape for several years until 1993 when Pro Tools was the standard and he has been using Pro Tools ever since
.

Over the years, Bob has built nine different studios, each more sophisticated than the last. Originally based in Irvine, CA, he was searching for a more client-friendly environment to set up a new studio. He found it at the Empire Building, in downtown Santa Ana, where he is part owner of the building.

Over the years, Bob has built up an impressive resume of clients he has completed projects for; Land Rover, Lincoln Mercury, Jaguar, Weinerschnitzel, Blue Cross, Mattel, are just a few examples. He has also completed feature films, scored innumerable commercials and infomercials, and is now leading the way in High Definition.

You could say that Bob was destined to become what he is today: an award winning composer, producer and expert in the audio industry. The awards he has received honoring his audio abilities including two Emmys, a Telly, a Golden Reel and many of the highest honors that can be bestowed in the audio industry, prove this.

In addition to audio, Bob is the President of the Downtown Santa Ana Business Council, a group dedicated to the growth and development of Santa Ana.
